We are 14 artists who share a deep appreciation for trees, both as a subject for our work and as a source of personal inspiration, health, and wellbeing.  The members are all established visual artists, mostly from the Wimbledon area, or south of London, many of whom have won awards.  Our artists bring unexpected perspectives and unusual techniques to their love of trees.

Whether we find them in urban streets or ancient woodlands, trees play a major role in the lives of individuals, communities and society.  As more of us spend time indoors, and live in cities, it is increasingly important to raise awareness of the benefits of spending time in nature.  The Canopy artists also want to promote public understanding of the role that trees play in combating climate change and cleaning the air, and the threats that face them in our modern world.
